Build your own log splitter for under $950 with all new materials
or use materials you already have/used materials and build one for considerably less.

With a 10 HP engine, an 11 gpm pump, a 3 inch by 18 inch cylinder get an approx. 10 ton splitter with a 10 sec. cycle time.

Plans can be followed step by step with

19 pages of the construction process.
Plans are easy to follow.

There are also discussions and steps for how to modify the plans

different cylinder size,
vertical or horizontal crankshaft engine,
larger size tubing for the main frame,

Welder
Drill
Drill bits (5/16, 3/8, ½, 1 inch)
Chop Saw (or cutting torch, hack saw)
